​Staffordshire Bat Group

Staffordshire Bat Group complete a range of surveys across the county including bat box checks, transect surveys, harp trap and mist net surveys, and monitoring of bat roost surveys. All of our surveys are completed on a voluntary basis and the group do not complete any surveys as part of planning applications etc.

Any of our members are welcome to join our surveys (with numbers sometimes restricted to reduce disturbance to bats), with the aim of getting to understand more about the populations of bats in Staffordshire.
