The Staffordshire Bat Group was formed in 1990. We exist to increase knowledge, understanding and acceptance of bats through promotional activities and research.
We also work with other bat groups and national organisations to further the cause of bat conservation.
We have a varied membership with a core of dedicated volunteers who undertake work for the group in their spare time. Activities include talks, walks, surveys, promotional work, bat care and rehabilitation and training courses.
The Group may be booked to give talks and lead guided bat walks for groups / schools.
The Group is run solely by volunteers, so availability is limited.
